The Los Angeles Clippers were able to stack up a third straight win as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers in an impressive 127-91 beat down.

Chris Paul almost clinched a triple-double although he sat out for the fourth. The Clippers bench came in clutch for the team as they outscored the 76ers’ bench, 57-16.

The Clippers told NBA.com this after the game:

“We came out, had a great start, had a huge lead and sort of got complacent,” said Chris Paul. “We weren’t really playing the right way. We picked up the pace and stretched it out, and our bench was amazing tonight.”

“They played with more energy, for sure,” said head coach Doc Rivers in reference too the reserves. “That was terrific. I thought we got off to a great start and we kind of went into a lull. In the fourth quarter, we stretched it, which was great.”

“It was just great to see,” said DeAndre Jordan. “In the first quarter, I think we gave up about nine layups, I think, with the first unit. That’s unacceptable. It doesn’t matter who we’re playing. But just to see them come in with the defensive mindset and turn those turnovers into buckets was really good to see.”

“It’s all about confidence,” Paul said. “Jordan (Farmar) was very aggressive tonight, which was huge for us. Jamal is always Jamal. We said a lot of times in this league is that we play off confidence. I hope tonight can be a huge building block for our bench.”

The game did get close throughout, and the 76ers cut the lead to four points in the third quarter. Tony Worten was outstanding tonight as he scored 27 points.

It looks as though the Clippers have benefitted from some solid rest and we aren’t complaining about it!
