Goff Has Career Game, Rams Beat Giants 51-17

Jared Goff threw for 311 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Los Angeles Rams beat the New York Giants 51-17 on Sunday afternoon. Los Angeles improves to 6-2 on the year with the win.

The offense got started in the first quarter when Goff connected with Tyler Higbee for an 8-yard touchdown. Eli Manning answered back with a 5-yard touchdown pass of his own to Tavarres King and the game was tied at 7-7 after the first quarter.

The second quarter got started with a 27-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein that put the Rams up by 3. Goff then hit Robert Woods for a 52-yard touchdown and Sammy Watkins for a 67-yard touchdown in the quarter.

Aldrick Rosas hit a 50-yard field for the Giants, and Zuerlein hit a 46-yard field to put the Rams up 27-10 heading into halftime.

In the third quarter, Todd Gurley rushed in for a one-yard touchdown. Goff connected with Woods for another touchdown, and Gurley rushed in for his second touchdown of the game and Los Angeles held a 48-10 lead.

Manning connected with Evan Engram in the fourth quarter and Zuerlein hit another field this time from 47-yards out to give the Rams the 51-17 victory.
