Lakers Blow Lead Fall To Timberwolves 119-111

The Los Angeles Lakers blew a fourth-quarter lead as they fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 119-111 on Wednesday night. Los Angeles has lost their last three games.

Julius Randle led the way with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Brandon Ingram added 17 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a double-double with 17 points, 6 assists, and 11 rebounds.

Ivica Zubac recorded a double-double in 19 minutes. He had 19 points and 11 rebounds. For Minnesota, Taj Gibson scored a season-high 28 points.

Jimmy Butler was key as he had 24 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds. Jeff Teague chipped in 20 and Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double with 10 points and 19 rebounds.

Jamal Crawford added 15 points off the bench as the Wolves outscored the Lakers by 15 in the final frame. Zubac went 8/8 from the field in his best effort of the season.

Over the last three games, Los Angeles has struggled on the defensive side of the ball. The go into the All-Star Break with a record of 23-34.
