The Current Conundrum Of The Los Angeles Kings

“Believe”

The Kings lost to the Buffalo Sabres and will lose other games this season to other team’s but not all is lost. There will be another game on the horizon and if there’s anything this Los Angeles Kings team has earned from its fan base, it is some faith (or as their sassy mascot Bailey would say (with a sign), “Believe!”)

Who are the true Los Angeles Kings, the regular season or the playoff version? The answer is both. They don’t do things the easy way, or the conventional way and most definitely do not do things the safest way but for whatever reason (or sorcery by GM Dean Lombardi and Coach Daryl Sutter) their way works! If for some reason it does not, then take comfort in knowing that this band of brothers have proven many of times that they will fight to the bitter end, win or lose. Besides it would not truly be the Los Angeles Kings if things were made too easy for them, now would it? A trade of a poor regular season for a powerful run in the playoffs in the same NHL year is a problem that this fan welcomes with open arms. Every time.
