Los Angeles Lakers Interested In Brandon Jennings?
- Updated: January 13, 2015
According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com the Los Angeles Lakers have contacted the Detroit Pistons about point guard Brandon Jennings.
As for Lakers, they have been very active since 12/15. Made calls on Waiters, Jennings, Monroe. Asst GM Glen Carraro is working the phones.

The Lakers made an effort to acquire Dion Waiters from the Cavs before he was moved to Oklahoma City. Jennings like Josh Smith was making bad decisions and demonstrating his usual poor shot selection. After the Pistons cut Smith, Jennings has become a different player.
#BrandonJennings avg 20.3 & 7.1 over last 10 games in just 27.9 mins per game #Pistons 9-1 in those games 29.1 pts & 10.2 asts per 40 mins

Jennings is known for his selfish play and poor shooting percentage but during the recent stretch he is playing great basketball.
The Pistons are unlikely to make any moves due to the recent successes of the team. The Lakers are trying to improve but I’m not sure how Jennings, Nick Young, and Kobe Bryant would all work on the floor together. All three players are ball dominant and it would be a tough situation for all parties.
The Lakers take on the Miami Heat tonight at the Staples Center.
